Cylinder Head Repair

Founded in 1946, our company has unique and unmatched experience in the repair and welding of Flocked Iron (grey cast iron) as well as spheroidal (SG) and Ni-Resist materials.

Gas reconstruction and fusion welding

  • Ensures consistent and stress-free repair with better metallurgical properties and machining compared to those of the base metal.
  • The parts are preheated until the optimum welding temperature
    is reached.
  • While the component is strictly maintained at this temperature, the area to be repaired is then subjected to the application of intense localized heat which it leads to a liquid state.
  • The filler metal that was previously carefully selected, of the same grade as the initial material is brought in.
  • Strictly controlled liquid cooling at room temperature ensures a consistent and stress free repair.
