Plate heat exchangers give excellent heat transfer characteristics and are ideal where space is scarce. These units are very efficient, however can be prone to “clogging” and require regular cleaning. Plates are available in Titanium, Stainless steel, etc. offering increased protection against corrosive conditions.
Thermal Design
If you are unhappy with the original design, send us the operating specifications and improvements required and we will offer a suitable replacement. We can also provide a shell & tube equivalent, if you would prefer to have a unit that is more easily repaired.
Air Conditioning
Air conditioning coils are usually designed to meet specific thermal and dimensional requirements. If we are sent basic dimensional information we can normally offer a cost effective alternative.
Materials
Only quality materials are used in our air conditioning coils. Copper, Aluminium and coated Aluminium fins are available. Standard framework uses galvanised steel however we can offer this and integral drip trays in stainless steel if required.
Options
Several fin types are available offering different thermal characteristics. We can often offer improved heating or cooling capacity within the same dimensions as the original unit. If this is required, please send full operating parameters and we will endeavor to meet your needs.
Quality
All units are supplied complete with material certification. It is unlikely that the air conditioning coil requires classification society approval, however this is available upon request.
